He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley N. Tippitt and Hazel Bell Tippitt (Foster); his wife Vivian M. Lucas; and his siblings, Donald Tippitt, Gerald Tippitt, Ronald Tippitt, Rita Coffey and Zelma Haley.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Tippitt (Kay) of Flintstone, GA, Beverly Nunnery (Mike) of Clinton, IL and Mark Tippitt (Sheryl) of New Berlin, IL; and his sisters, Ana Michaels of Oreana, IL and Charlene Basil of Kincaid, IL.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
