He is survived by: his wife Doris "Poge" Alwood of Clinton, IL; his children, Michael Alwood of Springfield, IL, Susie Schmid (Steve Starkey) of Clinton, IL and Claude Alwood (Gala) of Weldon, IL; and his sister Dorothy Sutton (Art) of Bolingbrook, IL.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
