She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas W. "Shorty" Sturgeon and Norma J. Sturgeon (Patterson); and her daughter Donna Jean Biggs. She is survived by: her son Donald W. Sturgeon of Decatur, IL; and her grandchildren, Zachary Cooley, Ashley Biggs, Tylar Biggs, Danielle Baumgartner, Bobby Sturgeon and Billy Sturgeon. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
