He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin C. Courtois and Agnes Amy Baugher Courtois; his siblings, Franklin C. Courtois, Doris Bolejack and Barbara Courtois; and his grandson Andrew Jacob Courtois.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Michael Dunham of Loraine, IL, Willie McLauchlen (Sarah) of Golden, IL, Wendy McLauchlen of Palmyra, MO, Luke Anthony of Albuquerque, NM, Pete Stodgel (Tina) of Fowler, IL, Sharon Talcott (Shawn) of Loraine, IL and Jerry Schoonover (Tracey) of Mendon, IL; and his siblings, Helen Courtois Palacek (Greg) of Marshfield, WI, Cynthia Owens of Columbia, MO, Randall John Courtois of Clayton, IL and Jackie Powell (Larry) of Hannibal, MO. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
