Jelica A. Johnston, 28, of Clayton, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Fullerton, CA.
Born February 9, 1994, in Quincy, Jelica was the daughter of Barbara Anne Hanie Johnston and Joseph Leffler.
Jelica was a graduate of Central High School. She was an outgoing person who was loved by many. She loves going to the creek, spending time with family and friends & her fur baby Khaleesi. She is very special to a lot of people, nobody was a stranger. She also loves nature, music, photography, crafting. She loves to sing, dance n be herself. she is a free spirited, old soul kind of lady. Everywhere she goes she shines. She is so silly , goofy, lil instigator, she is definitely one of a kind, so unique in every way. She touched so many hearts & souls, she was dearly admired & such an inspiration to so many. She made the world a beautiful place with her in it.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Barbara Johnston (Joseph Leffler); her siblings, Jason Johnston, John Rottman, Cranston Hanie (Ashley), Levi Johnston (Meghan), Joey Carpenter, Stacey Hubbard (Allen), Kendra Speer (Dustin), and Kimber Hillwig; her aunts and uncles, Phillip Meany, Kevin Meany (Sandy), Laura Clow (Michael) Toni Foglesong, Kenny Hanie, Colt Hanie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her aunt, Echo Welte, and two cousins, Blaine 'Dan' Welte and Amanda Zanger.
Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton by Pastor Tom Spain.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation or the family in the care of Barbara Johnston.
