It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greg Knapp of Clayton, Illinois, born in Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Knapp and Ruth Gregory Knapp; his wife Jeanette A. Ohnemus; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Mable Ohnemus; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Walling and Mary Collett.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie L. Knapp; his siblings, Steven R. Knapp (Colleen) of Belleville, IL., Scott D. Knapp of Nashville, TN and Jane M. Walling; his brothers-in-law, James Ohnemus (Ann) of Fowler, IL. and Duane Collett (Konnie); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Venverloth (Kirk), Beth Knapp, Tom Collett (Renata), Dave Collett (Nicky), Scott Ohnemus (Angie), Mike Ohnemus (Laura), Steve Ohnemus, Bob Ohnemus (Hillery) and Mark Knapp.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church or CUSD #3 for transportation.
