It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Schlueter of Clayton, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marie (Martha McCabe); his son Todd Alan; his siblings, Duane and Diana Wear (Gene); his parents-in-law, James and Iris McCabe; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys McCabe (Jim) and Don White (Helen).
He is survived by: his daughter Gretchen Marie Schlueter; his grandson Jared Todd Stukel; and his siblings, Donley (Karen) of Taylorville, Delmer (Cheryl) of Carthage, Dee Sorrells (Butch) of Mt. Sterling and Shirley Kemper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Jared Stukel to further his education, Dementia research or any conservative organization or candidate of your choice.
