With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ron Colman of Clay City, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Lee and Beatrice Lorraine Colman (Colclasure); his wife Shirley Colman; his brothers, Robert Colman (Shirley) and Jerry Colman; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Ruckman (Dale) and Eugene Hoke (Patricia).
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey E. Colman (Lynette) of Springfield and Julie Fritchtnitch (Jeff) of Altamont; his grandchildren, Paige Colman (Aaron O'Dell), Mitchell Colman (Jenna Martin), Cole Borders, Jerrod Fritchtnitch (Sarah Mackowiak), Rachael Arnholt (Tyler) and Caleb Fritchtnitch (McCahl); his great grandchild James Arnholt; his siblings, Susie Polistina of Springfield, John Colman (Paulette) of Louisville and Roger Colman (Lisa) of Flora; and his sister-in-law Joyce Hoke of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to Joy Bunch at Red Brush Christian Church, Oil Belt Christian Service Camp, or Flora First Christian Church, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
