We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, at the age of 95, Maxine Fildes of Clay City, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dewey and Ella Lee Shields (Baldridge); her husband Floyd Fildes; her children, David Wiley and Nita Marie Mobley; her son-in-law Gary Pearce; and her siblings, Edward Glendon Shields, Clyde Shields and Katheryn Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Wiley (Glenda) of Clay City and Nancy Pearce of Flora; her son-in-law Mike Mobley of Salem; her brother Ivan Shields; her grandchildren, Chad Wiley, Kim McCraw (Dion), Krista Reed (Tony), Kyle Wiley (Shea), Kara Gaddy (Jeremy), Scott Pearce, Greg Pearce and Gale Pearce (Faith); her great grandchildren, Jada Wiley (Louie Strange), Tori McCraw (Kyle Dasch), Jayci McCraw, Makynna Moss (Drake), Kaitlyn Eade (Landon), Trenton Lewis (Taylor Rhodes), Ryleigh Lewis, Taylor Wiley, Kyla Wiley, Karsyn Gaddy, Jailyn Gaddy, Allie Landers (Austin), Chloe Pearce, Maddy Pearce, Tristen Conner, Trenton Pearce (Molly), Jarin Pearce and Andrew Pearce; her great great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Chance, Adaleigh, Landrey, Quinn and Westin; her grandchildren, Lucas Mobley (Meggie) and Andrea Baker (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Eli and Ross.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
