She is survived by: her daughter Susan Carol; her siblings, Paul Bernard Thacker and Jean Shacklee; her children, Ann Varner, Dan Robb and Steve Robb; her stepdaughters, Dianne Vaughn and Gail Beauchamp; her grandchildren, Avery Medrano, Paul Varner and Scott Varner; her stepgrandchildren, Andrea Spicer, Alicia Thome, Jerry Vaughn and Audrey Beauchamp; and also, Dianne and Gail.
The Clay City Christian Church located next door to the funeral home is Mary Lou's charity of choice where she actively worshiped for 58 years.
