She was predeceased by: her parents, Orpha J. "Pete" and Nora C. Schnautz (Prosser); her spouse Winfred Herdes; her siblings, Neva Schnautz, Sherman Schnautz and John Schnautz; and her daughter-in-law Joanne Herdes.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Herdes (Teresa) of Clay City, Richard Herdes (Ruth) of Clay City and Alan Herdes (Liz) of Clay City; and her grandchildren, Lori Draper (Bryan), Michele Anderson (Larry), Michael Herdes (Tessie), Karl Herdes, Ryan Herdes, Miranda Fleeharty (Logan), Andra Herdes and Ross Herdes (Katie). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
