With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Marie Payne (Clay City, Illinois), who passed away on January 13, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Pearl Coulter and Susie Coulter (Shipman); her spouse Carmon Earl Payne; her brother Robert "Bob" Coulter; and her grandchildren, Bryan Eckelberry and Kelly Ann Eckelberry.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Sue Eckelberry (Dale) of Flora and Gary Payne (Jane) of Kinmundy; and her grandchildren, Matt Payne (Deborah), Zack Payne (Maria), Krysta Crapps (Michael), Danielle McElwain (Lonnie), April Adkins (Ryan) and Kandi Bubonic (Jay). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the staff at Twin Willows Nursing Center, with checks written in care of Cathy Marble.
