He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Peggy; his children, Debbie Dwyer (Tom) and Patrick Griffin; his grandchildren, Brendan and Caitlin Dwyer; and his siblings, Joan Jones (late Jerry), Nancy Shea (Dennis) and Thomas Griffin (Bridget). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (64 Norfolk Ave, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
