It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Damm of Claremont, Illinois, born in Lawrenceville, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Stellman and Clara Stellman (Elder); her husband Ron Damm; and her brother John Stellman. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Damm (Christina) of Gunnison and Philip Damm (Dalinda) of Savery, Wyoming; her siblings, Felix Stellman II (Donna) of Galveston, Texas and Shelley Buckley (Mike) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Skylar, Carter, Morgan and Reid Damm.

Masks and social distancing are required for both services.

“Growing up with the Stellman's next door was a blessing. They probably thought it was a curse. But the memories we have of Rita babysitting us "Beres kids" are unforgettable. From sneaking out and making them think we ran away to climbing on the roof and hanging from the gutters. Then getting to hear those stories, from their perspective, was awesome.
