She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Freking and Edna Freking (Healy); her siblings, Catharine Portz (Bernard), Marie Klein (Oscar) and Leo Freking; and her brother-in-law James "Jim" Auchstetter.
She is survived by: her sister Louise Auchstetter; her sister-in-law Karen Freking; and her nephew Franciscan.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Clare House Chapel, Mount St. Francis Center (3390 Windsor Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001).
