He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Morton and Grace Morton (Newell); his wife Laverne; and his siblings, LeRoy, Raymond, Kenneth, Jack, Aubrey Morton, Lou Ella Hari and Wanda Vonberg.
He is survived by: his daughter Earl Morton of Stone Creek, OH; his grandchild Cathy Haley (Tom Norton) of Danville, IL; and his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Haley, Stephanie Haley, Lesetta Gastrich and Bryan Morton. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
