Opal McCabe Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Opal McCabe of Cisco, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Opal left this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Opal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Opal farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulrich McCabe and Ann McCabe (Newbank); and her sisters, Elizabeth Clifford, Mary Reynolds and Celesta "Dolly" Painter.
She is survived by: her brothers, Bill McCabe of Villa Grove and John McCabe of Missouri.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Croninger Cemetery (1240 N 100 East Rd, Cisco, IL 61830).
