He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Heidkamp and Margaret Heidkamp (Weigard); and his brother Robert Heidkamp. He is survived by: his former wife Mary 'Kakie Woods; his wife Kakie Heidkamp of Cisco; his children, Meg Deagman of Monticello and Andrew Heidkamp of Champaign; his granddaughter Ella Brogan VanSchoyck; his siblings, Del Heidkamp of Cisco, Joyce Heidkamp of Cisco, Loretta Whitlow of Sesser, Betty Leach of Monticello and Peggy Parsons (Ron) of Cisco; and his sister-in-law Nancy Heidkamp of Cisco.
Memorials be made to the St. Philomena Catholic Church or the Cancer Research Department at the University of Chicago.
