It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sabina Ventura (Cicero, Illinois), born in Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maximino Medrano and Clemencia Medrano; her sisters, Irene De Leon and Mely De Leon; her brother-in-law Arturo De Leon; and her brother Gabino Medrano.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Iturralde (Victor) and Nancy Rodriguez (David); her grandchildren, Gio Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez (Annie), Becca Iturralde, Victor Isaiah Iturralde, Gabi Iturralde, Alicia Iturralde and Sam Iturralde; her great grandchild Lazaro Carvajal; and her brothers, Guadalupe Medrano and Maximino Medrano. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and loving inlaws.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider bringing warm hats, gloves and scarves which we will donate in her honor.
