It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie M. Bates (Cicero, Illinois), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Laura Bala (late Ron Circelli); and her sister Eleanor Tijerina. She is survived by: her children, Maria Nugent and David Bates; her grandchildren, Courtney Villarreal, Tommy Nugent (Brittany), Stephen Bala (Annie), Rachel Bala, Jordan, Michael and Alyssa Bates; her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Alexis, Marcus, Kayla, Nina Belle and Brady; and her sibling Louie Acosta (late Connie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and also survived by many friends.
