It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Athey Spizzo of Cicero, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert A. Spizzo; her children, James Spizzo (Joanne Spatz), Mark Spizzo (Fran Wilkinson), Ellen McAvoy (Tery), Mary Spizzo and Amy Spizzo (Brad Katz); her grandchildren, Oriana Spizzo, Paige Spizzo, Francesca Spizzo, Benjamin Katz and Elliott Katz; and her sister Rose Athey Fandel. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
