He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hillis and Myrtle Robinson (Kerley); his wife Mary Frances Robinson (Miles); and his sisters, Irmal Childres and Cleo Cravens.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Pitts (Fred) of West Frankfort; his grandchildren, Garrick Pitts (Kristen), Meredith Ruble (Corey) and Christopher Pitts (Sharon); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Thea, Lakya, Faith, Gabriel, Eden, Matthias, Renee and Jazmine; and his great great grandchild Spencer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (209 N Emma St, Christopher, IL 62822). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
