It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Angelo Basolo (Christopher, Illinois), born in Benton, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Martin Basolo and Polly Basolo (Hicks) of Christopher; his children, Ava Basolo and Keaton Basolo of Cambria; his sisters, Angie Bond (Larry) of Christopher and Anita Brockett (Sam) of Benton; his nephews, Dalton, Ryan Bond, Bo and Blake Brockett; his uncles, Fred Basolo (Loretta) of Mulkeytown, Carl Hicks (Glenda) of Texas and Ray Hicks (Linda) of Arizona; and his aunt Katherine Gallagher (Leonard) of Colorado.
The family also request no flowers and that donations be given to Mark's children Ava and Keaton for a scholarship fund. Checks can be made payable to Anita Brockett.
