He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Shovan and Laura Shovan (Price). He is survived by: his wife Lesley Smith of Christopher; his children, Kendra Woodland (Chad) of Valier and Tony Shovan (Danea) of Mulkeytown; his brother Joey Shovan (Debi) of Benton; and his grandchildren, Clayton, Gavin, Logan and Laurelai. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the Valier First Baptist Church.
