It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean D. Slone of Christopher, Illinois, born in Jellico, Tennessee, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Douglas and Elsie Douglas (Lay); her spouse Hillard Slone Jr.; and her daughter Sandra Crnokrak. She is survived by : her daughter Tracey Slone of West Frankfort; her grandchildren, Rachel Hagan (Rob), Joshua Petro (Stacey) and Jessica Joiner (Trevor); and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brody, Onilee and Kace.
