It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Helen Rowland of Christopher, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Welch and Annie Belle Welch (Bryant); her husband Steve Rowland; her sons, Charles "Bud" Rowland and Mike Rowland; and her siblings, Bernette Cox and Arthur Welch.

She is survived by : her children, Steve Rowland (Vicki) of Mulkeytown and Sheryl Robinson (Dennis) of Rolla, MO; and her daughters-in-law, Katie Rowland of Christopher and Judy Rowland of Christopher. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Faith Missionary Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
