He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles K. Harland and Shirley M. Harland (Gregory). He is survived by: his sisters, Kathryn C. Pearce (Dean) of Centralia, IL and Debra D. Gerdes of Sandwich, IL; his nephew Michael E. Gerdes (Ally) of Minonk, IL.; his daughter Nancy Chen (Bing) of DuQuoin, IL; and his granddaughter Tiffany Chen. He is also survived by six great great nephews and nieces, twelve cousins and an uncountable number of friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Christopher Youth Fishing Derby or to the Franklin County Disabled American Veterans.
