We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2020, at the age of 63, Betty Jean Short of Christopher, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Coy and Mary Newberry (Grabarick); her husband Raymond Short; and her siblings, Barbara Pickerill, Shirley Newberry-Robinson, John Newberry, James Newberry Jr. and Bobby Newberry.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Roberts (Bruce) of Sesser, Donny Short (Amber) of Sesser, Darren Short of Christopher and Jonathon Short of Christopher; her grandchildren, John Matthew Baxter, Tyler Baxter, Lacey Mae Roberts, Braydon James Short, Kyan Michael Short and Ethan Ray Short; her great grandchild Matthew Alexander Baxter; and her sister Linda Robinson of Colp, IL..
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
