She was predeceased by : her parents, Loyd Hammonds and Norine Hammonds; her husband James Blackston; and her siblings, Ethel Zicker, Doris Livesay and Frank Hammonds.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Austin Perigen, Ryan Kovach and Dehlia Smith; and her great grandchild Shia Perigen. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
