He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius J. Nowarita and Marcelle Nowarita (Burtin). He is survived by: his children, Sandy Nowarita of Chicago, Starr Grubaugh of Charleston, Vinnie Nowarita of Valparaiso and Amy Morgan of Mattoon, Illinois; his stepsons, Jeremy Sly of Paris and Allyn Sly of Chrisman; and his brother William Nowarita of Naperville, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
