We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2022, at the age of 82, Ralph Edward Simpson Sr. of Chrisman, Illinois, born in Casey, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Simpson and Margaret M. Simpson (Schick); his wife Gloria Jean Porter; his siblings, William, Fred, Matthew Simpson, Patricia Simpson and Dorothy Smyser; and his grandchildren, Jacob and Jaren Porter.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Simpson of Rantoul, Eric Simpson (Star) of Mahomet, Sheri Simpson of Champaign, Bobbie Woolbright (Jim) of Mattoon, Denise Baker of Toledo, Angela Huffman (Clifford) of Chrisman and Ralph Simpson, Jr. (Casey) of Chrisman; his sister Carol Ritz of Oakland, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Joseph Totten, Michael, Danika Huffman, Jasper, Ainsley Simpson, Erika Simpson, Taylor Newman, Amy Johnson, Travis Simpson, Amanda Grimes, Kaylee Devall, Jeremy McConnaha, Heather Golden (Jon), Heidi Ethington, Cayla Baker and Kassandra Baker. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
