She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Scott and Reba Scott (Long). She is survived by: her husband Roy Everett Thompson; her children, Judy Mattis of Danville, Gary Thompson (Elizabeth) of San Antonio and Janice DePlanty of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her sisters, Alice O'Neal of Dallas and Martha Jean Warner of Marshall, Illinois; her grandchildren, David Cahill (Tina) of San Antonio, Craig Cahill of San Antonio, Carla Cahill (Jason Allen) of Danville, Rachel Gomez (Mike) of Miami, Jacqueline Thompson of Austin, Jim DePlanty (Debbie) of Odin, Jeff DePlanty (Stephanie) of Clayton and Jason DePlanty of Salem, Illinois; and her great grandchildren, Bailey Cahill, Brandee Modgling, Maisie Cahill, Ainslie Cahill, Finn Cahill, Will Deplanty, Quinn DePlanty, Sebastian Gomez and Diego Gomez. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
