Joan Louise Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 85, Joan Louise Ellis of Chrisman, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kunkle and Mary Wilfong Kunkle; her husband Samuel J. Ellis; her son Ronald E. Rowe, II; her stepson-in-law Russ Congleton; and her brother Howard Kunkle.
She is survived by: her daughter Rene Anderson (Gene) of Clinton; her stepchildren, Bob Ellis (Susie) of Dana, Roger Ellis (Pam) of Chrisman and Nancy Congleton of North Durham; her brother Clarence E. Kunkle, Jr. (Lee Ann) of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Nicole Brown (Jeremy), Seth Rowe (Brooke), Dan Rowe (Faith) and Dalton Rowe; and her stepgrandchildren, Carly Delp (Lance), Chad Ellis (Shannon), Natalie Sheehy (Brian), Justin "Zack" Congleton (Jessica), Brant Congleton and Lucas Congleton. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
