She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Ellen Porter (Southard); her brother John David Porter; and her grandchildren, Jacob and Jaren Porter.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Edward Simpson, Sr.; her children, Angela Huffman (Clifford) of Chrisman, Ralph Simpson Jr. (Casey) of Chrisman, Eric Simpson (Star) of Mahomet, Bradley Simpson of Rantoul, Denise Baker of Toledo, Bobbie Woolbright (Jim) of Mattoon and Sheri Simpson of Champaign, Illinois; her siblings, Allen Porter of Terre Haute, Jerry Porter of Dana, Indiana, Georgia Meyers of Crawfordsville and Patsy Bedinger of Newport, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Joseph Totten, Michael, Danika Huffman, Jasper, Ainsley Simpson, Erika Simpson, Taylor Newman, Amy Johnson, Travis Simpson and Amanda Grimes. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Chrisman Church of the Nazarene.
