It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert E. Murray of Chrisman, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward "Ed" and Florence May Murray (Gilbert). He is survived by: his children, Kip Murray of League City and Katie Lankster (Bruce) of Paris; his grandchildren, Maria Starr (Cody) of Paris and Maxwell Taylor of Paris; and his great grandchildren, Deegan Lee Starr of Paris, Roxzen Lucas Starr of Paris and Dexlyn Maze Starr of Paris.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Chrisman United Methodist Church.
