She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester Slemmons and Winifred Slemmons (Hoult); her husband Richard H. Rogers; her sister Miriam Slemmons of Houston Texas; her sons, George Rogers (Carol) of Naples and Steve Rogers (Terri) of Chrisman; and her grandchildren, Christine (Dierker), Laura Rogers, Ben Rogers (Linda), Levi Rogers (Rita) and John Rogers (Katie).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Chrisman, 308 East Madison or a charity of choice.
