It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Lorenzen of Chrisman, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, John "Sonny" Lorenzen (Leila), Doris Westfall (Bob), Eleanor Adams (Fred), Marilyn Bess (Dewaine) and Betty Wendt (Gerhardt); his brothers-in-law, Jerry Lunger and Jim Lunger (Helen); his grandson Blake Bell; and his great grandchild Bennett Lorenzen.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Lunger of Chrisman; his children, Tony Lorenzen (Sharon) of Chrisman, Tracy Lorenzen (Lisa) of Chrisman and Trudy Bell (Kerry) of Watseka, Illinois; his grandchildren, Derrick Lorenzen (Stephanie), Courtney Giannavola (Mike), Drew Lorenzen (Casey), Casey Haugen (Corey), Chad Bell (Tiffany), Craig Bell (Julia), Dalton and Landry Lorenzen; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Jones (Alyssa), Nick Forbeck (Jessie) and Jackie Jones (Tre); his sister-in-law Pattie Lunger; and his caregivers, Mary, Cindy and Karlee.
Memorials can be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Hoult Cemetery, or Chrisman Athletics.
