She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Dettro and Goldie Dettro (Porter); her son Jeffrey Beals; and her siblings, Jack, Roger Dettro, Dorothy Barnes, Maxine Lowe and Marilyn Tegenkamp.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch Beals (Kimberley) of Chrisman, Melissa Kindred (Craig) of Chrisman, Pamela Lucas (Rick) of Chrisman and Chad Beals (Shay) of Paris, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Luke Beals (Kimberly), Jake Beals (Sierra), Ben Rogers (Linda), Levi Rogers (Rita), John Rogers (Katie), Blake Beals (Kate), Jade Bellcourt (Joe), Justin Kindred (Amanda), Jordan Kindred (Megan), Jocelyn Grunkemeyer (Ryan), Dylan Lucas, Anthony Beals and Coby Beals. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Chrisman Public Library.
