As we bid adieu to Sherry Layne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sherry Layne has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Lee, Sr. and Edna L. Lee (Burgess). She is survived by: her children, Ketra D. Hauk and Frank W. Hauk (Kim) of Chillicothe; her grandson Lane Hauk of Lacon; her great grandchild Ryder Hauk of Lacon; and her siblings, Constance "Connie" Ludwig of Clinton and James "Doc" Lee (Judy) of East Peoria. She is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604).
