She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Cherry and Frances Cherry (Stoetzer); her son Donald Nieukirk; and her sister Joanne Cherry. She is survived by: her husband Roy Nieukirk; her children, Tom Nieukirk (Cinnamon) of Panama City, Florida and Cindy Bainter (Brad) of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Sam, Wyatt, Katelyn, Olivia, Jenilee and Carson; and her sister Patricia Brugger (Dennis) of Bradford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554).
