Sandra Dunbar Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Dunbar of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2024 at the age of 77. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sandra had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sandra may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Herbert Lauber Jr. and Elizabeth Lina Lauber (Kaiser); and her husband Floyd D. Dunbar. She is survived by: her children, Bobbi Piles of Canton, IL, DeeAnn Hambucken (Denis) of Lee, NH and James Dunbar (Trisha Renken) of East Peoria, IL; her siblings, Richard Lauber of Dahinda, IL and Laurel Smith of Marietta, GA; and her cousin Jerry Lauber. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
