He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud B. Wright and Violet Burson (Wolford); his wife Patricia Ann Scherer; his siblings, Charles "Bud" Burson and Amiee Derrickson; his stepson David Wilson; and his niece Rhiannon Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Birch (Mike) of Chillicothe, Bob Wright (Sherry) of Manford, OK and Kelly Heller (Dorn) of Broken Arrow, OK; his stepchildren, Kim Ely (James) of Chillicothe, Jim Wilson (Lisa) of Princeville and Jeff Wilson (Julie) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Josie Birch, Braden Birch, Dana Heller and Ashley Leath; his stepgrandchildren, Josh Ely (Katelyn), Jessie Ely, Elyssa Albers (James), Zach Wilson (Lindsey), Miranda Gordon (Nick), Jamey Wilson and Abby Wilson; his sisters, Bonnie Kelly and Claudia Wright; and his nieces, Rachel Burson and Sarah Burson. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
