As we bid adieu to Martha's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Martha has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Buck" Welch and Alice V. Welch (Doran). She is survived by: her husband Doug; her sons, Joshua Evans of Chillicothe, IL and Seth Evans (Kelli) of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Hattie, James and Elliott; and her siblings, Dave Welch of Chillicothe and Sandra Warner (Gary) of Bloomington, IL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weber-Hurd Funeral Home (1107 N 4th St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
Memorials in Martha's name may be made to the Community Needs Agency.
