She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Peterson and Zelma Peterson (Sloan); and her siblings, Melvin Peterson, Marjorie Galvin and Martha Mock.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Deetjen (David) of Naperville and Karen Ippen (Steve) of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Marc Deetjen (Abigail), Grace Walder (David), Kevin Ippen (Morgan) and Erin Ziebarth (Zachary); and her great grandchildren, Luke Deetjen, Micah Deetjen, Rebekah Walder, Benjamin Ippen and Owen Ippen.
