He was predeceased by: his parents, August Hoffman and Leila Hoffman (Bohanon); his wife Nancy Lee Peters; and his siblings, Frank, Alonzo, June Smith and Juanita Murphy.
He is survived by: his sons, Don Hoffman (Sue) of Chillicothe, IL and Loren Hoffman (Traci) of Jamestown, IN; his grandchildren, Tyler, Lindsey, Logan, Mackenzie and Jordan; his siblings, Liz Plate, May Schoenbein, Colaya Redell, Ray, Nick, Rob, Roger Lew (Linda) and Paul Hoffman (Dee); and his siblings-in-law, Greg Murphy, Lillian and Sylvia Hoffman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association or to Transitions Hospice.
