He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Joseph and Josepha Marie Langenstein (Goergen); and his brother Frank Langenstein, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Marie Bubb; his children, Richard Langenstein (Stephanie) of Houston, TX, Timothy Langenstein of Peoria, IL, Michael Langenstein (Sharee) of Murphysboro, IL and Mary Beth Lorenson (James) of McKinney, TX; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, George, Joseph, David, Savannah Young (Ryan), Andrew, Sarah, Kayleigh, Maria, Delaney, Abigail, Kyra Langenstein, Reagan, James and Peyton Lorenson.
Memorials in Joe's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Edward Catholic Church.
