It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Kanzada Goewey of Chillicothe, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Frank and Nellie Frank (Loy); and her daughter-in-law Nancy Goewey. She is survived by: her siblings, Clinton, Joe, Bill, Art Frank, Wilma Rogers and Annie Cope; her children, Stephen Goewey (Paula) of Tipton, Kenneth Goewey (Debra) of Chillicothe, Andy Goewey (Debra) of Pekin, James Goewey (Carol) of Spring Bay, Betty Goewey of Chillicothe and Teresa Gardner (Mike) of Chillicothe; and her siblings, Mary Kuehnel of Godfrey, Nellie Barrett of Riverton and Louis Frank (Mary) of Jerseyville. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
