It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Okerberg of Chillicothe, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Lutes and Grace Lutes (Babington); and her husband Carl William Kenneth Okerberg. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Barnes (Gary) of Lacon, IL and Carl William Kenneth "Bill" Okerberg, Jr. of Sparland, IL; her grandchildren, Aleatia Okerberg, Lance Ratcliff (Amber), Amanda Gillson (Bob), Leah Ratcliff (Don Dippold) and Kyle Okerberg (Jen); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Raymond, Kayla, Cole, Logan, Cameron, Alexa, Devan, Elliot, Blaise and Isaac. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weber-Hurd Funeral Home (1107 N 4th St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
