He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wayne and Margie McGaughey (Silverthorn) of Virginia; and his sister Lynne Kearney. He is survived by: his wife Diane Collins; his children, Jeffrey M. McGaughey (Dana Boone) of Frisco, TX, Laura C. Held (David) of Kernersville, NC and Debbie M. Jarman of Chillicothe, IL; and his siblings, Stan McGaughey (Cheryl) of Banning, CA and Donna Dunbar of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
