With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol A. Norton of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Frederick and Dorothy Elizabeth Ackerman (Gonnerman); her husband Richard Alan Norton; and her children-in-law, Wes Kellogg and Debbie Norton.
She is survived by: her children, Nola Norton (Mary Funk) of Peoria, IL, Larry Norton (Autam) of Mt Pulaski, IL and Sheryl Kellogg of Hanna City, IL; and her brothers, John Ackerman of Ohio, IL and Wilbur Ackerman (Laurene) of Mebane, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Mark Lutheran Church and the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.
